In response to the tech troubles still plaguing health care reform’s online insurance exchanges since its Oct. 1 launch, the Obama administration has announced it will tap an outside contractor to take the lead in correcting the site’s problems.

Officials announced Friday that one of the website’s subcontractors — QSSI, Inc. — will be promoted to general contractor, tasked with fixing HealthCare.gov, reports the Associated Press. Until now, officials at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services had the lead role.
