UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS | Friday’s monthly look at unemployment was considered good news, as the jobless rate remained unchanged. But the jobless rate for blacks and Latinos is much higher than the average. We take a closer look at racial disparities revealed in the unemployment numbers with Algernon Austin, director of the program on Race, Ethnicity And The Economy at the Economic Policy Institute, and Mark Hugo Lopez, economist and associate director of the Pew Hispanic Center.

DEMOCRATIC TROUBLES | While Democrats try to come together to pass a health care reform bill, infighting over abortion could waylay an agreement. Meanwhile, Democrats in the House are facing ethics investigations and there was word freshman New York Democratic Rep. Eric Massa will resign Monday.

SHIELDS AND GERSON | Syndicated columnist Mark Shields and Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson discuss the Democrats’ woes and other political events of the week. David Brooks is off tonight.

HUNGER AND VIOLENCE IN SUDAN | Special correspondent Fred de Sam Lazaro visits a field hospital in southern Sudan on the front lines of a hunger and humanitarian crisis.
