Search continues for parachuters who landed in lower Manhattan

Police are searching for two mystery parachuters who landed near the Goldman Sachs building in lower Manhattan early Monday morning around 3 a.m. EDT. The individuals were wearing black suits and helmets and were captured on nearby surveillance cameras. “If they came out of an aircraft, it’s unknown at this time but they were seen walking with parachutes away from the location,” said NYPD police commissioner Ray Kelly. “No banners, no notes were left. Obviously it is something that is under investigation.”
