St. Louis public TV asks, can Ferguson be a catalyst for change?

Updated 5:58 p.m. EDT Aug. 29 | All eyes descended on Ferguson, Missouri, when local police officer Darren Wilson fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was unarmed, on Aug. 9. Following Brown’s death, protesters took to the streets and clashed with law enforcement, revealing deep-seated racial tensions in the St. Louis suburb and the nation.

Partner station the Nine Network in St. Louis, working with KSDK NewsChannel 5, hosted a discussion with local leaders on how the tragic events in Ferguson could be a catalyst for change in the eastern Missouri city and the country. Watch the full program in the player above.
