Also affected were the private Arrowhead Mills and MaraNatha brands. Salmonella bacteria can cause abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting in healthy people, according to the FDA. It can lead to serious and even fatal infections in those with weakened immune systems, children and the elderly.
