So we decided to check it out for ourselves in the second installment of Newshour Connect. We spoke to Marcia Franklin of Idaho Public Television, Jennifer Moore from Ozarks Public Radio and Cathy Lewis from the Public station in Hampton Roads. We selected these locations partly because they are different types of communities on the Patchwork Nation map, and so with different motivations, our reporters tell us what makes the tea parties in their communities tick.
