Scott Walker’s phone call with a blogger who pretended to be billionaire and conservative financier David Koch. Mark and David were at odds, in a civil manner, over whether Walker crossed the line in accepting the call. They largely agree, however, that the political forces at play in the spending debate in Congress won’t lead to an immediate government shutdown. Both recall their experience covering the last government shutdown in 1995 and early 1996.
