Trump tells a gathering of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee: “Iran is the biggest sponsor of terrorism around the world.” Trump has been speaking from prepared remarks — a rarity for the businessman who usually speaks off-the-cuff using hand-scrawled, point-form notes. He’s repeatedly bashed Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, speaking with the aid of a teleprompter. Trump is also slamming the United Nations. He says the group is “not a friend” of democracy, freedom, the United States or Israel. He says he would veto any attempt by the UN to impose its will on the Jewish state.
