Maloy, who has represented Utah's 2nd Congressional District since 2023, is now running in the 3rd Congressional District after mid-decade redistricting. Maloy defeated former state Rep. Phil Lyman in the state's June primary after both candidates failed to secure enough votes at the state GOP convention to win the party's nomination outright.
