PBS NewsHour’s Broadcast and Online Coverage Plans for the Senate Hearings of Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh

Washington, DC (August 31, 2018) — PBS NewsHour will report extensively on the Senate hearings of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on broadcast, online and on social beginning Tuesday, September 4, 2018 continuing through the end of the hearings. PBS NewsHour will produce live, full coverage of the hearings on Tuesday (beginning at 9:30am ET), Wednesday (beginning at 9:30am ET), and Thursday (start time TBD) on PBS stations nationwide (check local listings for specific channel), anchored by managing editor Judy Woodruff, with correspondent Lisa Desjardins from the U.S. Capitol. Guests for the morning/daytime specials include chief Washington correspondent for The National Law Journal Marcia Coyle, Constitutional Accountability Center president Elizabeth Wydra, and former clerk for Kavanaugh Roman Martinez.
