PBS NewsHour’s Judy Woodruff to Moderate National Association of Manufacturers 2016 Presidential Candidates Forum
Washington, DC (September 9, 2015) – As the presidential primary season heats up, PBS NewsHour co-anchor and managing editor Judy Woodruff will moderate the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) 2016 Presidential Candidates Forum on Manufacturing on Monday, November 2, 2015 in Pella, Iowa.
Republican and Democratic candidates will take questions from Woodruff in front of manufacturers and workers at Vermeer Corporation headquarters, an Iowa-based manufacturing company that produces construction, agricultural and environmental equipment. The focus of the event will be issues of chief concern, topics and policies most pertinent to manufacturing and the economy.
Woodruff has reported on 10 presidential elections throughout her career, at PBS and for NBC News and CNN.
The 2016 Presidential Candidates Forum on Manufacturing will take place at 9:30am CT on Monday, November 2, 2015. The forum will be broadcast on Iowa Public Television (IPTV) and will also live stream at www.pbs.org/newshour.
