9/11 as Art: Photographer Captures Vernacular Response to Attacks

Documentary photographer Jonathan Hyman knew immediately that the Sept. 11th attacks would alter the lives of Americans across the country, and it was his intention to capture their response to the attacks. He started taking pictures that day of what he was seeing popping up in public places and on the side of the road and has continued doing so off and on for the last ten years.
