For millions of Americans, Super Tuesday has been over for weeks. That is because they cast their ballots in many of the critical states ahead of time, a fact that could help shape the results of the multi-state contest.
Despite being punished by the national parties for moving their balloting to January, Florida's winner-take-all primary promises to be the biggest prize for Republican candidates among the early voting states -- with 57 delegates up for grabs.
Hundreds of thousands of votes have already been cast for Sen. John Kerry and President Bush by voters taking advantage of new "early voting" options in 26 states.
