IOC suspends Russian Olympic Committee for incorporating sports councils in Ukrainian regions

The Russian Olympic Committee has been suspended by the IOC for breaching the Olympic Charter by incorporating sports bodies in four regions in eastern Ukraine.

34 nations call on International Olympic Committee to clarify neutrality on Russia

The governments of 34 nations signed a statement calling on the IOC to clarify the definition of "neutrality" as it seeks a way to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes back into international sports and next year's Paris Olympics.
