Arizona’s Democratic governor signs a bill to repeal 1864 ban on most abortions

Democratic Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs has signed a bill to undo a long-dormant law that bans all abortions except those done to save a patient's life, but the ban is still in effect until the fall.

Arizona’s Democratic Gove. Hobbs vetoes border bill approved by Republican-led Legislature

Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs has vetoed a bill approved by the Republican-controlled Arizona Legislature that would have made it a crime for noncitizens to enter the state through Mexico at a location other than a port entry.
