Judge scolds Justice Department for ‘disturbing pattern of profound investigative missteps’ in Comey case

The judge wrote that prosecutor's "fundamental misstatements of the law" include unexplained irregularities in the transcript of the grand jury proceedings.

Federal judge weighs challenge to appointment of prosecutor who charged James Comey, Letitia James

Lawyers for former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James asked a judge Thursday to dismiss the cases against them, saying the prosecutor who secured the indictments was illegally installed in the role.
