Louisiana takes aim at Jim Crow-era jury law

Louisiana is one of only two states in the country allowing a non-unanimous jury to convict a defendant of a felony, and a Louisiana lawmaker says it is time for the Jim Crow-era practice to end.

While the effectiveness of the strike is still being analyzed, "initial indications are that the precision of the Storm Shadow weapons and meticulous target planning have resulted in a successful attack," the ministry said in a statement.
