Gunmen reportedly engaged in firefight with security forces in a terminal used for cargo and V.I.P flights. “The old terminal of Karachi airport was attacked by militants,” a senior police official told Reuters. The fighting continued into Monday morning. Airport Security Force spokesman Shaukat Jamal said the military has been called in, while police were fighting off the attackers. The airport was closed off and flights were diverted.
