Islamic State threatens Twitter employees and founder Jack Dorsey

The Islamic State group is encouraging supporters to kill Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, and any employee of the social network, in retaliation for blocking the group’s Twitter accounts.

The message was originally posted to JustPaset.it, and later translated by Buzzfeed. In the post, Islamic State says:

“For the ‘individual jihadi’ all over the world, target the Twitter company and its interests in any place, people, and buildings, and don’t allow any one of the atheists to survive.”

Islamic State uses social media to recruit new members. Twitter deletes or suspends any account that that includes messages connected to threats.
