Airing another broadcaster’s commentary and editorial during a live event is not a step we take lightly, however we think theese pictures and events are an important matter of historical record to share with our audience. We know the Egyptian government has been critical of Al Jazeera, and its coverage of these events, however Egyptian state television has also not made coverage of many of these protests available live.
