These super cute table decorations can also be a great party activity – Simply replace the hot glue with craft glue and let the kids have fun decorating their own numbers with pompoms, yarn, and buttons (not suitable for under 3 years of age due to small pieces).

Start by painting each number with white paint. Let it dry. You may need to apply several coats to achieve a smooth finish.

Decorate with pompoms by hot gluing them onto each number.

Decorate with yarn by wrapping yarn all over the number.

If your number does not stand up on its own, then hot glue each number to a fruit juice cap or lid.
