Dress Up as Spring Kings and Queens

Recycle paper bags and reel in the spring season like royalty by making these cute crowns.
Materials
Directions
Cut a strip of paper bag the entire length of the bag and about 5'' wide. Cut one long edge of the rectangular strip into triangle "mountains" to form your crown shape.
Tear the tissue into tiny squares and then crumple it into balls. This part is fun for your kids and can become a crafting, paper-scrunching activity!
Begin gluing the paper balls you've made onto your paper bag. If your bag has writing on it, glue the paper to that side and cover the writing. You can glue the colored paper in any pattern you wish!
Pour some school glue into a shallow container and, using a paintbrush, paint the glue onto the pointed tips of the "mountains" you cut out. Sprinkle glitter all over the area painted with glue. Shake the glitter off and allow to dry.
Once your crown is dry, punch a hole in each short end of the rectangle, then thread some yarn through. Tie the yarn ends together to form the crown shape around your child's head.
Ta da! Now your child is all set to go forth and rule the spring outdoors. Happy spring!
