Make an Easter Egg Wreath

When Curious George is in charge of the Easter egg hunt, he wants everything to be perfect. As he dyes eggs, however, one rolls off the table and breaks! To even out the colors, he decides to dye one egg half yellow and half green.
Get ready for Easter by making an Easter egg wreath with your child. Start by asking your child to sort plastic eggs by color and then by encouraging them to make patterns. Just like Curious George, your child can get creative and make something bright and colorful for Easter!
Materials
Directions
Gather a dozen or more of the same size plastic Easter eggs. Close them up and give them to your child. How many of each color can they count? What different color patterns can they make?

Lay the eggs in a circle on a table. Ask your child to move the Easter eggs around until they are happy with the pattern.

Glue the eggs together one by one.

Tie the ribbon into a loop around the wreath and hang it on the door or a wall. Happy Easter!
