Play Snowman Match Up

Leftover or unused pieces of wrapping paper are the perfect size for a matching activity!
Materials
Directions
Collect as many different kinds of wrapping paper scraps you can. Four or five is perfect for older toddlers.
Cut a large, medium and small circle from each kind of wrapping paper. If you only have a small piece, cut them smaller.
Lay out a large piece of paper (butcher paper or card stock will also work) and mix up all the circles.
With the circles all mixed up, see if your toddler can find three matching circles.
Once she has, have her sort the circles from biggest to smallest to form a snowman. Talk her through it: "Which circle is the biggest? That will go on the bottom," and so on.
Help your child glue the wrapping paper scraps onto the piece of paper to form a snowman.
Optional: Write “Snowman” under the snowman and sound out the letters with your child.
