This rainbow eruptions activity is a great after-school project for kids! Add baking soda and food coloring to small containers then pour on some vinegar to watch each container erupt.

Add the baking soda to the small glass containers.

Squeeze different colors of food coloring into each container.

Pour vinegar into each of the containers, then watch them erupt! If you're worried about making a mess, protect your table with newspaper or by placing the glass containers in a baking dish.
