Thanksgiving Potholders

Get a handle on your Thanksgiving dishes with these kid-made potholders. Your child will be painting with their hands, so make sure those tiny little fingers are clean!

Smear brown paint on your palm and thumb. Dab the green, red, yellow, and orange paint on each finger (one color per finger).

Lay your hand on the center of the potholder and gently press each finger down. Lift your hand straight up.

Once the paint has dried, use the black fabric paint to draw turkey legs and make an eye. Then use the orange to make a beak and the wattles (the gobbly gobble piece under a turkey's neck).

Finally, use paint to write your name or anything else you want to say.
