Thanksgiving Venn Diagram

Thanksgiving Venn diagram

What are you most thankful for on Thanksgiving Day? It's pumpkin pie, right? This Thankfulness Venn diagram activity compares adults and kids to see who is thankful for what during this sweet smelling holiday.

Materials

Questionnaire Directions

1

Print the Thanksgiving Venn Diagram and three Thanksgiving Venn Diagram Questionnaires.

2

Choose three individuals to participate (you can repeat the activity as many times as you want!) As your child asks each person gathered at Thanksgiving the top three things they are most thankful for on that day, place a check mark in the box next to that item on the list. Repeat this for each individual: child, adult, and grandparent.

Venn Diagram Directions

1

Determine the top three things each individual is thankful for on Thanksgiving. Find which thing, if any, that all three groups agreed upon. If the answer is Family Time, for example, write 'Family Time' in the center portion of the Venn Diagram where all three circles overlap.

2

Determine if there is anything only two groups listed in their top three, like Stuffing. If the parent and grandparent chose Stuffing (but not the kid), write 'Stuffing' in the overlap of the orange parent and gold grandparent circles.

3

Keep going until you've finished writing the things only one group selected in their top three, like 'Christmas is Next!" and 'Pumpkin Pie.' It's fun to see the things that family and friends of all ages agree are the most thankful for on Thanksgiving Day.

You can change any of the groups to match the people at your Thanksgiving! If you want a group for Family Friend, Kid, and Grandparent, simply change the names on the Venn Diagram printables. This is your Thanksgiving!
