As Washington Week marks its 50th anniversary, two of the program’s original employees are nearing their own golden anniversary. Paul Anthony, Washington Week’s announcer for the past 50 years, met his wife Joanne, a one-time Washington Week production assistant and WETA-TV accountant, on his first day on the job. “It was love at first sight,” Paul says.
