As 2025 winds down, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude.
This year, with public media facing headwinds, your belief in the importance of rigorous, independent investigative journalism helped make it possible for us to keep producing it.
You’ve watched as we documented the realities of growing up poor in America, following three now-grown kids across 14 years as they try to pursue their dreams in an economy that presents more obstacles than opportunities.
You’ve supported us as we examined the Trump administration’s approach to executive power, the impact of its immigration policies, and how one of its most powerful figures is reshaping public health.
You’ve tuned in as we explored how Hurricane Helene became an ominous warning about America’s lack of preparedness for climate change-related storms.
You’ve come along as we investigated the Israel-Iran war and the U.S. role, Syria both under and after Assad, the battle for Tibet, and the Kremlin’s crackdown on journalists.
And you’ve watched as we chronicled the Russia-Ukraine war in the trenches, in a film with the AP that has been named to the Best Documentary Feature shortlist for the 98th Academy Awards.
Like every documentary we release, it is built on painstaking, deeply vetted reporting — and it is available to stream in full, for free, to the entire U.S. public.
It is thanks in no small part to your steady support that we are able to continue doing this work, and making it accessible to all.
Thank You for Your Support.
Because of everyone who donated in 2025, we can continue to tell bold, in-depth stories from our communities and around the world. It’s not too late to donate to keep FRONTLINE’s important work strong for all of 2026.
In the year ahead, we will continue to pursue vital stories in the public interest, buoyed by your generosity and that of other funders, as well as the crucial, ongoing support of PBS and GBH.
Next month, our documentary One in a Million, telling the story of a Syrian refugee whose story we first began chronicling more than a decade ago, will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It will have its broadcast premiere on PBS later next year. And there is so much more to come in the months ahead.
Thank you for your valuable and sustaining belief in our work, and for playing a crucial role in our ability to keep doing it.
We wish you a calm and peaceful end of 2025 and a bright new year ahead.
