This from FRONTLINE producer Michael Kirk, who appeared on “The Takeaway” this morning with Washington Post reporter Dana Priest to discuss Top Secret America, our look at the dramatic changes that have reshaped America in the decade after 9/11:

The film premieres tonight (check local listings), but you can get a sneak peek with this excerpt in which the CIA’s former top lawyer tells us that Obama has changed very few of the controversial programs implemented during the Bush administration.

Also get a taste of Priest’s new book, co-written with William Arkin; this particular passage looks at the post-9/11 rise in targeted killings — or as some call them, assassinations.
