Gene Grant and The Line opinion panel discuss Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s recent statewide stay-at-home order and the edict that all non-essential businesses must close. The group discusses implications for people laid off or furloughed and what the orders mean for the businesses that employed them. The Line also looks at the rising numbers of New Mexican testing positive for COVID-19, and the first state death related to the disease.
