    The Chaperone: Airing Nov. 24, 9/8c

    Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey‘s Lady Cora) and Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey‘s writer, creator, and executive producer) team up with MASTERPIECE again, with The Chaperone! Based on Laura Moriarty’s best-selling novel, The Chaperone is the story of Norma Carlisle (Elizabeth McGovern), a woman whose life is changed forever when she chaperones a young and soon-to-be-famous Louise Brooks (Haley Lu Richardson) to New York.

As for Sanditon the TV series coming to MASTERPIECE on Sunday, January 12, 2020, it’s is a bold adaptation of Jane Austen’s final, unfinished work, about what happens when the spirited yet levelheaded Charlotte Heywood arrives in Sanditon as Parker’s guest…and what happens when she goes head-to-head with his witty, prickly, yet decidedly handsome brother, Sidney.
