Dear FRONTLINE,
Rove's politics are about winning, not about morality, goodness and righteousness. This man is not a patriot, he is a traitor in the truest sense of the word, as he has betrays all that democracy purports to be: a fair fight, for the good of all the people.
The method of Hitler was extermination of the physical body. The method of Republicanism is extermination of independent thought.

Dear FRONTLINE,
A compelling program on Carl Rove that left me with a feeling of dread. Oh well, at least we now know who's really running the place. All this time I thought it was Cheney. We stare across our common border at a nation seemingly gone mad.

Dear FRONTLINE,
For the most part your program on Karl Rove was well done. I give it a C- as an overall grade. Karl Rove's political skills are measured by the results of the elections of 2000-2004. Americans will move to the party they feel represents the best interest of their country and right now that is the Republican party. Why did you use people from the Washington Post in your program? Did all the other political pundits turn you down ? Your report on Karl Rove I see as showing him as some sort of dark sinister character waiting to take over the country. I will be waiting to see your report on John Kerry's political advisor...hummm which one will it be?

Dear FRONTLINE,
Thanks very much for this truly journalistic inquiry into Mr. Rove. In this day of bought media, it is wonderful to see a work that is not afraid of the Bush machine, yet not out to get it either.
Watching the goings-on of this administration -- from its very un-conservative fiscal policies, to its illegal war, to its perversion of Christianity, to its hypocritical use of the education system, to its contempt and demonizing of the judiciary to its picking on minority groups for electoral votes -- I constantly ask 'where are the media?' I am truly disturbed by the direction of this country, and horrified with the lack of attention paid it.
If more people had known information like that contained in this film, surely there would be a war hero in office in lieu of a war monger and liar. My sorrow is that this is likely too little too late, but I very much appreciate your noble attempt at truth. I only hope that we can survive the next three and-a-half years without further catastrophic damage!

Dear FRONTLINE,
This is a scary individual. He played a headgame on the American people, and most of them don't even know it, and worse yet, never will. I wish the Republicans who voted for Bush would see this, and realize just how they were duped by these sleazy people. They tell exactly how they did it. I hope if no one else in the country saw this, I hope Howard Dean was watching. When will the networks get the guts to do stories like this?

Dear FRONTLINE,
A remarkable program, and one that provides ample food for thought, particularly as concerns a substantial portion of the political electorate that is indifferent, unwilling, or incapable of critical thinking.
I, too, was reminded of Hitler's Propaganda Minister, Joseph Goebbels, and his unique ability to exploit propaganda to further the party's goals. Timely and adroit exploitation of fear and biases- Kerry's "flip-flopping," gay bashing, Kerry's questionable military record-- all expertly perpetrated by Rove. One can only wonder at Bush's chances of winning either presidential election, had he not had Rove's personal engineering assistance.
It remains to be seen whether we can weather the Social Security mess over the next three years. Even more significantly, it concerns me greatly that one man-- and someone not elected to office, at that-- should be able to exert literally single-handedly so much leverage on the moulding and redirection of major national policy.

Dear FRONTLINE,
Thank you for the show. Unfortunately, the dark side of Karl Rove was not properly illuminated. Those who wish to see this dangerous man as he REALLY is should get a copy of the film "Bush's Brain," which reveals the evil of this man and the president he serves.

Dear FRONTLINE,
I commend you on your show about Karl Rove because more light needs to be shown on the Republican faction of our government and their agenda. I wish that more had been said about the tactics and how they play a role in influencing the voting decisions of those that aren't politically intelligent but respond to hot button issues. For the republicans it's all about phrasing and using correct speech, twisting words to manipulate those that can't read between the lines. Dirty politics are nothing new, but Karl Rove perfected them for the times we live in. It is up to the democrats to find a way to counter these hot button issues and get their message out in front of the voting masses.

Dear FRONTLINE,
This was a great documentary on the insidious, underhanded methods perfected by Karl Rove to "win elections at any cost". Here in Ohio it also included engineering electronic voting machines to 'default' to Bush.
As the silent majority suffers economic hardship, sees more of their own class slaughtered in war and witnesses Bush's attempt to con them out of any financial safety net by stealing Social Security -the breaking point will come and Rove and Bush will fall. I thank you for presenting an even-handed account of "the Architect's" methodology. Please re-broadcast this often so we can get the most people to watch as possible. This documentary should be required viewing in all Political Science and Ethics and History classes nationwide. Good job.

Dear FRONTLINE,
Thanks for the program. But I wonder how the Republican gays will feel about being used, again? And how will the religious right gays feel about being used again and again? Rove's methods will come back to haunt him. and I can't wait. I'm sure I'll pity his fall from grace.

Dear FRONTLINE,
I have been watching your program on Karl Rove. It only confirms my worst fears for the future of this country. I used to be proud of my country and goverment but, now I am ashamed of my country and I have lost all respect and trust in my government. Bush and his cronies are a disgrace to the human race. He stole one election and wrapped himself in the flag and an obscene war to win the second. The only way to change the direction this country is headed is to put the democrats in power encourage unions and full benefits for all workers. In addition, limit business and get us out of the global economy.

Dear FRONTLINE,
i think to much credit is given to rove in the re-election success, when it came to the moment of truth on which way to vote,,,the war in iraq decided it,,,how we got there is suspect, but handing it over to kerry was just not going to happen
timothy arnett leo, in
Dear FRONTLINE,
As a Democrat, I must say that I found the program to be fascinating. Once I saw John Kerry on C-span stating his case for voting both for and against the 87 billion, I knew he was toast too. I still voted for him. I also hoped the public would see through the flimflam. Sadly, I was wrong.
But as a great Republican once said: " You can fool all of the people some of the time, you can fool some of the people all of the time, but YOU CAN'T FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME." 2006 will prove that.

Dear FRONTLINE,
Wonderful program on Karl Rove and the new republican majority. I could not help but think of Lee atwater and his final regrets before he died of cancer and his apology for the Wille horton ads that sank Dukakis and wonder if the stench of this tatic against gays might play out in a similar way. I predict that the sexual issue will come back to haunt them someday. Perhaps this is what Nietzsche meant the will to power is having no moral scrubles in a fight, which hardly seems like a Christian message finally but a lesson in fascism. Hatred of blacks, homosexuals have been used as political wedge issues before and will be again but the sly way Rove uses this tatic underscore his shame in using it. I have no doubt that the sexual proclivities of all right wingers will be an interesting topic for the next four years. I can't wait.

Dear FRONTLINE,
The genius of Karl Rove is that he can manipulate people who really don't understand politics or the larger issues of this country. This includes not only the electorate who voted for Bush but the President himself.
