SHARE

Pianist Kevin Cole, renowned for his interpretation of Gershwin and performances from The Great American Songbook canon, is one of many illustrious musicians interviewed in Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did For Love. As a tribute to the late composer and his friend, Cole arranged and performed this piano medley from three of Hamlisch’s songs: “The Way We Were” (title song to the 1973 film) and “At the Ballet” and “What I Did for Love” (both from the hit musical A Chorus Line in 1975).

Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did For Love premieres nationally Friday, December 27, 2013 at 9 p.m. on PBS.
