WHAT IS FLASH POINT?


"Flash Point" is a new series of online slideshows presenting
the work of up-and-coming as well as established photographers
and photo journalists. Launching in late 2006, the series was
developed to give photographers and journalists a highly visual
and interactive outlet to present their stories on the Web.
With the launch of Flash Point, as with our successful "Rough
Cut"  video series,  the aim is to continue to expand our Web
coverage and reach new audiences with our stories from around
the world.  


We will apply the same rigorous journalistic and production
standards to these slideshow presentations as we do with all
FRONTLINE/World reports, and we look forward to hearing your
thoughts as we progress with the series.
