Every July, Key West kicks off its annual Hemingway Days Festival. Revelers crowd Sloppy Joe's bar, knocking back beers and feasting on house specialties like "The Bun Also Rises" and "For Whom the Grill Tolls." They compete in arm-wrestling matches, story-telling bouts, and the famed Hemingway Look-Alike Contest (which attracts Papa wannabes wearing poloneck sweaters despite the Florida heat).
