Nano: Where Art and Science Meet An in-depth look at the intersection of art, science, culture and technologyTechnology
Artist Victoria Vesna and nanoscientist James Gimzewski have created an exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art that teaches about the practice and uses of nanoscience -- the science of manipulating material at the molecular and atomic level. The interactive exhibit, which the creators describe as a "participatory aesthetic experience," allows visitors to participate in art-making activities that show what it is like to manipulate single atoms.
