Doubleheader: Shields and Brooks on Humor Transcending Politics
What's an election without a little humor? Hari Sreenivasan, Mark Shields and David Brooks talk about keeping one's sense of humor in politics and the rises and falls of elections speakers. They talk about Brooks' recent column in the New York Times that parodies Mitt Romney in a tongue-in-cheek way.
"Humor should transcend politics. You should be able to make fun of Democrats and Republicans and still be able to vote for one or the other," said Brooks.
With the help of Google Hangout, they also take questions from our audience about the election and the convention.
