New Zealand’s Shaken Town Combs Through Debris, Buries the Dead

At least 150 people died and more are feared buried in the rubble caused by a 6.3-magnitude earthquake that struck the city of Christchurch on New Zealand’s South Island on Feb. 22. A week later, rescuers were still searching through the ruins and the town was holding memorial services for the victims of the quake.
