Health Project

Since 1980, the Esalen Russian-American Exchange Center has sponsored joint research and encouraged Russian-American collaboration in a number of medical fields. TRAC is continuing this work by establishing a model medical research laboratory in St. Petersburg which focuses on psychoneuroimmunology, the study of the relationship between the immune system and the mind.

TRAC is now cooperating with the Albert B. Sabin Vaccine Foundation in its work on the development and use of vaccines in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
