Dr. Goff is the author of a book on forensic entomology entitled "A fly for the prosecution". It is a readable, witty account of what forensic entomology is all about. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the matter as a layman.

I had the honor of taking Dr. Goff's entomology class when he and I were at the Uni of Hawaii, Manoa. It was one of the best (and most memorable) classes I took in my whole college career. UH should've never let him go.

I can't wait to show my students this doc when I get to my unit on insects in my Zoology class.

Well Done! This should be required viewing at about the Sophomore (Biology class) level of high school (maybe in Middle School/Jr. High). Great use of science, demonstrating many disciplines to inspire the budding scientist (and for the "n'er do wells"...a message, "Don't even think about it!"
