Have taught Sophie to sit (very easy) but she refuses to learn down and stay. Any tips?

  • Sarah

You wrote: “Make sure your settings allow people to download your photos. You can do this in your “Account,” under “Privacy and Permission.” ”

Do you have to have a paid acct on Flickr for people to be able to download the pictures?

We just loved looking at other cats. people love them so much. My girls, Mag & Bridg are loved to but dont want to show up the others, Red tabbies are that way you know! But they liked to check out the kids next door cats will be cats!

  • Reno

Your doc was gorgeous! I’m a dog person, but your film actually got me loving cats.
Jerry and his humans were perfectly perfect. I cried so much I had to take an allergy pill. Or maybe that was because of newly loving cats.
Just wondering, though, why I couldn’t submit the max of 3 pics to the contest? I dragged 3 to the “send to group” direction on my FlickR page and all I see is one pic in the Nature group. The photo I see is called LucyBushes_1.jpg. What did I do wrong? Thanks a lot. Your film got me to join FlickR also. Big success, that movie. Now I’m going to read Jerry’s full story. I love him.

Will this contest be held again in the future? I have two fabulous pics of my cat (caramel colored shorthair) drinking out of the toilet (UGH! he loved to do it, tho) and the fuzzy toilet seat cover matches him exactly! All you see really is his big rear end. The other is the same kitty (his name was Marko) curled up between the front outstretched paws of the black poodle who lived upstairs (tenant’s pup). Both of them were looking at the camera and smiling! But I cannot find those pics at the moment!

  • karen

I posted some pics but cannot see them on the page. Does this mean it did not work?

  • Ann Marden

I absolutley loved this show . It stuck me from such an honest and loving point of view concerning the wonderful love we get from and give to animals .
    Please show it again.

  • NATURE Online

Log in to Flickr, go to your Photostream, click the photo you want to edit, then “add a tag” in the right column.

  • Laura Craven

How do you make PBS.Nature Flickr account your “Friend” or “Family” to allow downloads? I went to contacts, but I do not have their email address.

  • NATURE Online

To add PBS.Nature as a contact on Flickr, visit our profile here: http://flickr.com/photos/18290142@N08/
Then, near the top of the page, click “Add PBS.Nature as a contact”

  • Colleen

No photo could tell you why I love my dog. You’d need an essay contest for that.

  • Laura Craven

Thank You for your fast and clear directions. I appreciate your help. PBS.Nature is now a friend and family member. As I type this note of appreciation, my cat (Wilson T. Scrumpmeyer) is helping me by licking my hand. Once again, thank you.

It’s too bad I didn’t find out about this program until today. I had some great cat photos! I watched in online because my brother (who is watching my cat while I’m away) told me about it the other day and said it was great! I completely agree! Please let me know if there is another one in the future.

  • matt

I adore my cats, Morris (affectionally known as Mo Mo, Moresto, or the Great Pumpkin :)) and 8 Ball (8 ers). Morris is a big orange ball of fur with a whiney attention loving personality who loves me to hold him like a baby. 8 ball has claws, loves to purr, nip and swipe constantly. They are the best cats in the world in my opinion and I hold them near and dear to my heart :)

I just watched your great program. In the past I’ve had cats. You can train cats like dogs. One cat, Meatball we trained to shake hands, sit up, and roll over.(we used liver treats) As Meatball grew fatter though, when he sat up he would flop to the side. He also ate dog food and lived to be 23years. I now have a small black dog, Tuba, who I found outside Tuba City, in the desert- starving, no hair and full of sores. The vet said, “It’s a New Mexican Hairless.” That was eleven years ago. He is grey about his mouth and older but still plays ball. Tuba is my one and only. We drove across country three times. When I’m sick, he stays at the bottom of my bed to keep guard. At six a.m., a hot breath in my face tells me it’s time to get up. His favorite treat is water melon. Your program will help people become aware that animals need respect and love just like us. Keep going with the good stuff!
