Ingredients
- 4 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, medium diced
- 1/4 cup currents or golden raisins
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- pinch nutmeg
- 1 clove
- pinch salt
Instructions
- 
        
        Combine all ingredients in heavy-bottomed sauce pot. Bring to boil.
- 
        
        Reduce to simmer and cook slowly, stirring often to prevent scorching, until thick.
- 
        
        Remove from pot and cool.
- 
        
        Serve room temperature.
