Paul Steven Miller
is currently serving his third term as a commissioner
of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He also served on the Executive Committee of the
President's Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities and the
Presidential Task Force on Employment of Adults with Disabilities. Prior to his
appointment, Mr. Miller served as the deputy director of the U.S. Office of
Consumer Affairs and the White House liaison to the disability community.
Following his tenure as a litigator for a large Los Angeles law firm, Miller
taught at several law schools and served as director of litigation for the
Western Law Center for Disability Rights. A graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania, he holds a law degree from Harvard Law School where he was a
member of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.
