The 10 victims of the Santa Fe High School shooting

Galveston County officials on Saturday night released the names of 10 people who were killed Friday at Santa Fe High School in Texas when a gunman opened fire inside a classroom.

Authorities said the suspect, Dimitrious Pagourtzis, a 17-year-old student at the school who was taken into custody after a shootout with police, confessed to the shooting. He is now facing charges including capital murder and aggravated assault against a public servant. Thirteen people were wounded in the attack, some of whom remain in critical condition.

Eight students and two substitute teachers are among the dead. Here is a list of the victims released by the Galveston County District Attorney's Office:
