Authorities said the suspect, Dimitrious Pagourtzis, a 17-year-old student at the school who was taken into custody after a shootout with police, confessed to the shooting. He is now facing charges including capital murder and aggravated assault against a public servant. Thirteen people were wounded in the attack, some of whom remain in critical condition. Eight students and two substitute teachers are among the dead.
