White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says the Biden administration does not think Russian President Vladimir Putin should take part in the incoming G20 summit in Indonesia this fall.

This comes after Indonesia's President Joko Widodo says that both Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Putin have agreed to attend the summit to be held in Bali in November.
Widodo, the current chair of the G20 group, said he urged both leaders of Ukraine and Russia to end the war through negotiations.

He said that he invited Putin and Zelenskyy to the G20 summit as the war in Ukraine has a major impact on the global economy.
Psaki also spoke about a former U.S. Marine was killed while fighting alongside Ukrainian forces.
His family said in what would be the war's first known death of an American in combat.
And Psaki faced questions on President Joe Biden's exposure to COVID after White House communications director Kate Bedingfield test positive for the virus.
