And, finally, a video that caught our eye.
While cruising through the chilly waters of Antarctica, scientists had an unexpected visitor, a penguin. This penguin hopped on to a boat operated by the Australian Antarctic Division while the team was collecting water samples for a research project.
A team member said the bird wasn't fleeing a predator, like a seal, or resting. This species of penguins are naturally curious, we're told, and can swim hundreds of miles without a break.
What a great surprise.
