This penguin hopped on to a boat operated by the Australian Antarctic Division while the team was collecting water samples for a research project.A team member said the bird wasn't fleeing a predator, like a seal, or resting. This species of penguins are naturally curious, we're told, and can swim hundreds of miles without a break.What a great surprise.
