John Yang:

More classified documents have turned up at President Biden's Wilmington Delaware home. His lawyers revealed today that when they went there to turn over a classified document to investigators, five more were found in the process. The discovery of the material which dates back to his days as vice president came on Thursday. Separate special counsels are investigating both Mr. Biden and former President Donald Trump to see whether they broke any laws and their handling of classified materials.

In California it's another weekend of punishing storms that could bring six to eight more inches of rain in parts of the state already underwater. Nearly three weeks of catastrophic downpours have saturated the ground across much of the state, washing out roads and triggering mudslides. So far at least 19 deaths have been blamed on the storms and 1000s of people are under evacuation orders.

Ken Whitmire, California Resident:

It was intense. I mean, we could just look out and see the water was just pouring, pouring down the street, knowing that it was going to be filling the lake but we didn't have any idea that it would fill it as fast.

John Yang:

The same system will dump more heavy snow in the higher elevations, which will help raise critical reservoir levels.

A barrage of Russian missiles targeted multiple Ukrainian cities today. The first time in nearly two weeks there's been an attack of that scale. In the southeastern city of Dnipro, Russian strikes level part of an apartment building burying many people under rubble and killing at least nine.

Early this morning Kyiv was also targeted by strikes. This comes as the British today pledged state of the art battle tanks to Ukraine, something that war torn nation has sought for months. These will be the first modern Western tanks sent to Ukraine.

Next week, the United States will lead a meeting of all nations that supply weapons to Ukraine, where more announcements of tanks are expected.

And Robbie Knievel, the Daredevil motorcyclist and son of legendary stuntman Evel Knievel has died. His family said the cause was pancreatic cancer. Robbie Knievel made hundreds of heart-stopping jumps in his career, including vaulting a portion of the Grand Canyon in the 1990s, stunts that defied death and set records. Robbie Knievel was 60 years old.
